Position Overview:

We are looking for a high-energy, morally grounded individual to serve as a facilitator of learning. This role involves guiding students through daily exercise, Socratic conversations, core academics, and supporting project-based learning initiatives. Responsible for cultivating an environment that keeps kids curious and eager to learn independently. The ideal candidate is someone who embodies holding a standard, prioritizes physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and has a genuine passion for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

* Facilitate engaging Socratic discussions to encourage critical thinking and open dialogue among students.

* Support and guide students in project-based learning, helping them explore their interests and develop problem-solving skills.

* Create and maintain a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and self-directed learning.

*Mentor students to develop their autodidactic skills, encouraging them to take ownership of their educational journey.

*Collaborate with the Apogee Triangle team to design innovative learning experiences tailored to students needs and interests.

* Model a healthy, active lifestyle and inspire students to prioritize their physical and mental well-being.

*Manage daily set up and tear down of mobile classroom.

Qualifications:

* High moral character with a commitment to integrity, empathy, and respect.

* Passion for working with children and fostering their intellectual and personal growth.

* Strong commitment to physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, serving as a positive role model for students.

* Experience or strong interest in facilitating Socratic discussions and/or project-based learning.

* An ability to create a supportive, engaging environment that encourages curiosity and independent learning.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.

* Prior experience in education, mentoring, coaching or working with children is preferred but not required.
